The ICC Men's cricket T20I World Cup 2022, which will be the eighth Twenty20 world cup, is scheduled to take place in Australia between the 16th of October and the 13th of November 2022. This event will mark the beginning of the 8th T20 cricket world cup.
The event was initially planned to take place in India between the months of October and November 2021. However, the date has now been moved. As a consequence of COVID-19, the International Cricket Council (ICC) declared in July 2020 that the competition would be postponed until 2022.
The ICC reaffirmed in August 2020 that Australia will be the host nation for the 2022 event and that India would be the host nation for the T20I World Cup in 2021. Both of these announcements were made in reference to the upcoming cricket tournaments.

ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2022 Venue
The International Cricket Council has selected seven cities in Australia to further investigate as possible hosts for the 2019 ICC Men's T20I World Cup. All of these cities are located in Australia. It is predicted that each of these towns will play host to at least one of the matches.
Having said that, this is something that could shift depending on the conditions that are currently around Covid at the time in question.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is planning to make the news on November 16 of the next year. There will be a total of 45 Twenty20 World Cup matches played in Australia in 2022, and the locations that will host these matches will be announced in the upcoming announcement.
