Mumbai will host the first of three ODIs between India and Australia on March 17. Visakhapatnam and Chennai will host the next two matches of the series.
Hardik Pandya will be leading India in the first ODI while Australia will be led by Steve Smith in this ODI series. India is currently placed at the top of the ICC Men's ODI rankings while Australia is second in the rankings. India and Australia have met in 143 ODIs so far. Out of these 143 games, India won 53 while Australia was victorious on 80 occasions.
For India, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan will be the backbone of their batting. Apart from them, the top batsmen include KL Rahul and Shubman Gill. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are expected to play the role of finishers.
