Is MS Dhoni retiring in IPL 2023?

Deepak Chahar - MS Dhoni has no intention of retiring this season of IPL 2023

BADSHAHBOOK: MS Dhoni remains a big name in world cricket despite retiring from international level on 15 August 2020. The former India captain still remains super-active in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is well prepared to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the forthcoming 2023 edition.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Deepak Chahar said that he is not sure about the confirmation that whether or not MS Dhoni will end after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Previous year, Dhoni had shown his desire to return to the tournament.

“No one has said that this was going to be his final year. At least he doesn't have said so. Hopefully, he will play more. We don't know about anything like that, we want him to play as much as possible,” Chahar told Badshahbook.

"He knows when to retire, we've seen it when he's done it in Tests and international cricket. No one else knows that. I just hope to see him playing, it's an honor to play with him," Chahar further added.

This question has been around since the 2020 release, just before Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket. At the end of the season, when CSK failed to make the playoffs, when asked if it was the last Dhoni in the IPL, he said, "Definitely not." Returning for another season and lifting the title.
